What kind of breakfast is served at Al Khalidiah Resort?
Breakfast is served as a continental buffet with halal options and a kid-friendly selection in the on-site restaurant overlooking the pool.
Does Al Khalidiah Resort have a pool?
Yes. The resort has an outdoor swimming pool with a sun terrace, outdoor furniture, sun loungers and beach umbrellas, and every room balcony overlooks it.
What type of room can I book?
You can book a Standard Twin Room with two twin beds, a Standard Double Room with one queen bed, or a Family Room with two twin beds and one queen bed for up to four guests.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 2:00 PM and check-out is until 12:00 PM. The front desk is open 24 hours a day, so late arrivals are no problem.
Is there a restaurant on site?
Yes. One restaurant on site serves European cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with halal dietary options and a family-friendly atmosphere. Room service is also available.
Is parking available?
Yes. Free private parking is available on site and no reservation is needed.
Is WiFi free?
Yes. WiFi is available in all areas of the resort and is free of charge.
Is there an airport shuttle or transport to Dubai?
A free shuttle service runs to Dubai city centre. Dubai International Airport is about 30 minutes by car and Sharjah International Airport is around 18 km away.
How far is the resort from the centre of Sharjah?
Sharjah city centre with brand name shopping is roughly a 15 minute drive from the resort.
How close is the beach?
Al Khan Beach is about 0.6 km away, an easy walk from the resort, and Al Corniche Beach is around 0.75 km away.
Is the resort suitable for families?
Yes. Family rooms sleep up to four guests, children of all ages are welcome, and the pool and kid-friendly buffet make it an easy choice for families. Children aged 12 and above are charged as adults.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed at the resort.
Do the rooms have a balcony and a private bathroom?
Yes. Every room has a balcony overlooking the pool and a private bathroom with a shower, towels and free toiletries.
Is a deposit required on arrival?
A refundable damage deposit of AED 250 is collected by credit card on arrival. It is refunded in full to the same card within seven days of check-out, subject to an inspection of the property.
